I have to admit, I was a bit concerned last January regarding my ability to "recast" my loan with Chase. All I had was a single paragraph letter from Ed Parnell saying Chase had told him it was okay. Nevertheless, I trusted that. I wanted to let you know that all is well. Chase has done exaclty what you said they would. I put an additional $145,000 against the loan....the loan has been recast, house payments reduced by 49%, original terms & conditions remain in place and all for a $300 service fee.
