Prior to starting his consulting practice in March of 2006, Shon spent 12 years as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Pinnacle Financial Corporation. Shon’s financial genius was integral in assisting this organization to grow from one company with less than 80 employees and $240 Million in annual loan closings to a total of seven companies with six operating business channels and over 1,200 employees (including Pinnacle Direct Funding Corp. – a subsidiary spin-off owned by the shareholders separately) with over $6.2 Billion in annual loan closings for 2005. The total after-tax equity for the organization increased over 4100% during the term. Prior to Pinnacle Financial, he spent 4 years and a senior financial and budget analyst with Old Kent Mortgage, Inc. and Princeton Financial Corporation.
